Morning Motivator - Are You Building a Business?

"Companies that measure success in 30 day cycles truly live paycheck to paycheck."
- unknown

I always enjoy the matrix presented by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, as it relates to business.

In this matrix, he defines 4 types of money making - Employed, Self Employed, Business Owner and Investor. Employed means you WORK for someone else with a SINGLE source of income. Self Employed means you work for YOURSELF with a single source of income. Business Owners have others working for them and create income from their activities, as well as the employees. Finally, the Investor had their MONEY doing all the work and generates multiple sources of income.

INTERESTINGLY, many business owners are actually a HIGH POWERED version of self employment. Their business works paycheck to paycheck and when they take a vacation... So does REVENUE.

More INTERESTING is how many EMPLOYEES treat their role as a Business Owner. They STRIVE to create referral streams, DELEGATE responsibility and provide STRUCTURE, such that they are able to spend time AWAY from the business while creating revenue.

2 DEGREE SUCCESS STEP:
If you are NOT currently working to SEPERATE yourself from being the sole driver of your income, you are missing the boat!

Even as an EMPLOYEE, you are able to create systems using AUTOMATION, DELEGATION and LEADERSHIP which will allow you to do more with less.

FREE yourself from your role... Find better ways of doing business without having to be "at work.". Remember, no boss ever fired an employee that came to work when they were the BEST employee!

Cheers,
Zach
