Morning Motivator - Plan Ahead!!

"Don't forget the Morning Motivator!"
- Nancy Dubuisson

As I always PREACH... Be prepared!! Today, I AM your example.

In preparation for an upcoming Chattanooga trip, I overlooked todays Morning Motivator. Thankfully, my lovely girlfriend, Nancy, REMINDED me that the Morning Motivator had not yet been sent.

What's the lesson?? Simple, PREPARE ahead of time and you will not fail to meet deadlines. When you take a FEW minutes every day to prepare for the next day... You NEVER have to worry about executing properly!

2 DEGREE SUCCESS STEP:
Take 10 minutes at the end of EVERY work day to prepare for the next.

Make a checklist of RECURRING events, projects and special items. PRIORITIZE based on importance and lay the form in front of your computer for the next morning.

If you will take the TIME to be PREPARED... You will never need your girlfriend (or other loved ones) to REMIND you to do the simple things...

Cheers,
Zach

Morning Motivator - What's the Worst...

"The biggest mistake you can make in life is to be continually afraid of making one."
- Author Unknown

Do you "play it SAFE" in your life? Are you FEARFUL of taking a risk because you may look Silly doing so?

When people discuss SUCCESS and the "risks" of achievement, they are RARELY discussing financial risk. More commonly, the RISK that top achievers take, is the risk of failure, embarrassment and ridicule.

The GREATEST achievers are often the people that are laughed at, told they are CrAZy and so on... They are also the people that are STONG enough to endure the pain and ridicule, taking the risk of failure, to see that the ideas they are so passionate for become true.

2 DEGREE SUCCESS STEP:
Ask yourself, "what the worst that can happen?" So you fail at something... Who cares?! Maybe you even embarrass yourself... Did it kill you? Of course not!

By taking the RISK of failure, embarrassment and ridicule, you are SHOWING the world that you are a top ACHIEVER. You are also showcasing your STRENGTH of character...

Winners, leaders, achievers... All take the RISK of failure! Will you?

Cheers,
Zach

Morning Motivator – The System & Your Independence

"The best way to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence."
-Charles Austin Beard

As you CELEBRATE these next days with BBQs, pool time and the occasional tasty adult beverage, REMEMBER the purpose of this celebration.

As FREE men and women, we celebrate our INDEPENDENCE from tyranny, illegal taxation and control over our thoughts and ideas. We are PRIVILEGED with the ability to CHANGE our position in life through hard work, education and focus. We are provided the LIBERTY to speak out against a government that insists on controlling our outcomes and the use of the fruits of our labors.

As you CELEBRATE, consider your RESPONSIBILITY as a citizen to your fellow man and your DUTY to limit the government's ability to make your decisions for you. We live in a time of GREAT unrest within our domestic and international borders. We have a LEADERSHIP that believes it knows what is best for you and those after you. Regardless of how you FEEL or voted, YOU have the RIGHT and DUTY to make sure that you stand for your beliefs and fight for the rights of others… even in DISAGREEMENT.

2 DEGREE SUCCESS STEP:
During this past year, I participated in Leadership Nashville, a leadership development and enhancement course for C-Level Executives along with Civic and Community Leaders.

During a course, I remember DISAGREEING with a statement made by someone and FIGHTING for my perspective. Needless to say, I stood alone on my principle; HOWEVER, one of the greatest comments ever made to me was said…

"While I disagree with your statement, I will fight for your ability to make it. Your perspective is every bit as important as any other, maybe more, simply because you are the one person standing against the group."

Agree or disagree… remember that your FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE is derived from your ability to take action against organizations. Stand STRONG… and CELEBRATE your FREEDOM!

Cheers,
Zach

Morning Motivator - When Will I Be Successful?

"Success is a process more than a realization."
- unknown

I IMAGINE that you are similar to me and have asked, "When Will I Be Successful?" I wonder at what point I will FEEL that I have "made it."

Interestingly, as we ACHIEVE more in our life, accomplishing goals along the way, we seem to never "just be HAPPY." There always seems to be ANOTHER milestone, something else to ATTAIN or getting to the "next level."

Is it possible that SUCCESS is NOT attainable? Could it be that ACHIEVEMENT is an invisible goal, always moving?

2 DEGREE SUCCESS STEP:
I am REALIZING that success is a patter devised from a process of goal achievement.

The only REAL way to know if you are successful is to:
1. Set S.M.A.R.T goals
2. Measure and review them consistently
3. Benchmark against others
4. Reset and adjust as needed

Define YOUR success, measure it to know you have attained it and then assess what the VALUE of that success is to you, and whether you should seek to repeat the process again...

Cheers,
Zach
